Municipal Airport
The Maquoketa Airport
Commission is proud to highlight the events and services that it provides.
The airport has a 3300 foot long
runway with a 500 foot overrun. The airport is located at 2215
134th Ave, Maquoketa, IA 52060. The telephone number is
563-652-6517.
Each year, the Commission and
Maquoketa Optimists Club host the Annual Fly-In Breakfast that is
held every Fathers' Day. (Photos appear below.)
This event is a source of fun and interest to hundreds of our local
citizens, plus is draws up to 50 pilot and their planes from all
over Iowa and adjoining states.
The Airport is also pleased to
announce that Chartaire, Inc has decided to locate and operate at
our airport beginning July 1, 2003. Chartaire is an airplane
charter service.
The Maquoketa Municipal Airport is
operated by the Maquoketa Airport Commission and is supported by the
City of Maquoketa.

place at the annual Fly-In Breakfast. Each Fathers' Day, from
7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., visitors can enjoy aircraft on display,
helicopter rides, and take-offs & landings.

affiliation with aviation businesses that use our airport as a
point of operation.
Chartaire, Inc, an airplane charter service provides some types of caretaker support,
when available.
