Updates on Park & Recreation Projects/Programs
Soccer
Clinic
Approximately 25 Maquoketa youth attended
the soccer clinic offered by Loras College coaches during the first
week of June.
Fall
Soccer Registration
Youth grades K-12 are reminded to sign up
ASAP in order to be eligible for the Optimist Club sanctioned fall
soccer leagues. Forms are at the community center.
Summer
Youth Ball Leagues
Youth baseball and softball leagues are
underway. Thanks to area sponsors! Thirty-five baseball
and twenty-two softball teams play regularly at the city
fields. Attend a game and support the youth of our
communities.
POOL
Swim Lessons, aquatic classes and swim
parties can be scheduled at the Maquoketa pool by calling
652-5331. Special events are planned throughout the
summer.
